Prop Data Lab is an independent reference for proprietary trading firm rules, pricing, and payout terms. We exist because this information rots fast, changes quietly, and is mostly published by people paid by the firms they describe. We are not one of them.
What we actually do
We read the fine print so you don’t have to guess. Every rule, price, and payout term on this site is taken from the firm’s own official documentation — help centers, terms pages, pricing pages — never from other review sites. Each claim links to its source, and each page shows the date we last verified it against the original.
We re-check the source documents on a weekly cycle and log every change we detect. When a firm quietly changes a drawdown formula, a payout gate, or a price, it shows up in our records with the date. Full detail on the process is on our methodology page.
How this site is funded (and why that doesn’t bend the data)
Prop Data Lab may earn affiliate commissions when you purchase a challenge or subscription through some links on this site. That is how the work is paid for, and we state it plainly — see our independence policy. Three commitments keep the money from corrupting the data: rankings and rule data are never for sale; negative findings about firms we monetize get published anyway; and no firm-supplied statistic is ever presented as if it were independent. The comparison speaks for itself — we don’t score firms with a proprietary number we could quietly tilt.
What we are not
We are not a prop firm, not affiliated with or owned by any firm we cover, and not financial advice. Trading funded-account challenges carries real cost and a high failure rate — several firms’ own disclosures put evaluation pass rates around one in five. Read the receipts, do the math (our true-cost calculator helps), and decide for yourself.
Corrections & contact
