Prop Data Lab exists because prop-firm information rots fast and most of it is written by people paid not to notice. Here is exactly how this site works.
How we verify
- Official sources only for rule values. Every rule, price, and payout term is taken from the firm’s own documentation — help centers, terms pages, pricing pages — never from other review sites. Each claim links to its source.
- Weekly re-verification. We re-fetch the source documents on a weekly cycle and diff them against our stored copies. Every page shows its last-verified date.
- Changes get logged publicly. When a firm changes a rule, price, or payout term, the change appears in our Rule Changes log with the date and the before/after.
- Unverified means unverified. Anything we could not confirm against an official page is labeled as such or omitted — we do not fill gaps with guesses. When a firm’s own pages contradict each other, we say so.
- Corrections. If we got something wrong, we fix the page, note the correction, and keep the last-verified stamp honest. Spot an error? Tell us and we’ll re-verify within a week.
What we don’t do
We don’t accept payment for rankings or placement. We don’t publish firm-supplied “payout statistics” as if they were independent data. We don’t score firms with a proprietary number — we show you the rules and the receipts, and the comparison speaks for itself.
