Last updated: 11 October 2026 FTMO prices its challenges in euros. What does that cost in dollars, and how much does the exchange rate move it? We took FTMO’s current euro price list and the European Central Bank’s daily USD/EUR reference rates, and converted the fee at today’s rate, at the dates we archived the €540 price, and as a month-by-month what-if since January 2021.
FTMO’s 2-Step $100,000 Challenge costs €540, which is $605.12 at the latest ECB rate (1.1206 dollars per euro on 2026-10-09). At the same €540 list price, the dollar cost was $576.88 when we first archived it on 2 January 2023 (rate 1.0683), a +4.9% change.
The same fee has ranged $531 to $657 in dollars since January 2021. The euro was weakest against the dollar in October 2022 (monthly average 0.9826) and strongest in January 2021 (1.2171). In January 2021 the average was 1.2171; in September 2026 it was 1.1513. Those months are a what-if for the current fee, not a record of what FTMO charged.
Year on year, the euro is stronger. The average ECB rate over the 12 months to September 2026 was 1.1620, against 1.1053 in the 12 months before: €540 averaged $627 against $597.
Only FTMO is covered. It is the only firm among the 10 we track for which we have confirmed a euro price list on its own pages. We did not check whether other firms offer euro checkout, and we left out any firm we could not confirm.

Method
Each euro fee is multiplied by the ECB reference rate on the date (or the last ECB publication day before it, because the ECB does not publish on weekends or TARGET holidays). Monthly averages are the simple mean of that month’s daily reference rates. 2021 to September 2026 are shown; October 2026 is partial and left out.
Current fees were parsed from the pricing table embedded in ftmo.com on 11 October 2026 (2-Step and 1-Step, account sizes $10,000 to $200,000). The $100,000 2-Step list price of €540 was confirmed on archived copies from 2 January 2023 onward.
Caveats
The ECB reference rate is a benchmark published once a day, not a rate you can trade or pay at. Card networks, banks and payment processors add their own margin, and FTMO may charge in another currency at checkout. Nothing here says what any trader actually paid.
Only the $100,000 2-Step fee has archive history in our data, so the long monthly series is a what-if for that one fee. Other firms are not covered because we have not confirmed that they list prices in euros; that is a limit of our checking, not proof they do not.
