Prop Firm Payout Holiday Calendar: Federal Reserve Closures to 2030

Last updated: 12 October 2026 When a prop firm says a payout takes “3 business days”, a bank holiday adds a day. This page lists every day the US Federal Reserve Banks are closed from 2026 to 2030, from the Fed’s own table, and shows how those days shift the payout windows that firms publish.

Key findings · Fed holiday table, firm payout wording

Today, Monday 12 October 2026, is Columbus Day, a Federal Reserve holiday. The Federal Reserve Banks are closed, so bank transfers that run through them (ACH and Fedwire) do not settle until the next business day.

Three more Fed holidays fall before the end of 2026: Veterans Day (Wednesday 11 November), Thanksgiving (Thursday 26 November) and Christmas (Friday 25 December). The full Fed calendar to 2030 is below and in the CSV.

A holiday pushes the end of a business-day window back a day. For example, Topstep says wires take 5 to 10 business days after approval. Counting from Wed 25 Nov 2026, the 10th business day is Thu 10 Dec 2026 with Thanksgiving counted, not Wed 9 Dec 2026.

No firm we track says which holiday calendar it uses. The windows below are the firms’ own wording; the dates are our arithmetic using Fed closures, which is what US bank transfers follow. A firm based outside the US may count its own public holidays instead.

Each row takes a request made on the last business day before the holiday and counts the firm’s maximum stated window forward, once skipping only weekends and once also skipping the Fed holiday. Real timing depends on when the firm approves the request, cut-off times, and your bank. Firm wording comes from our payout speed and methods dataset, checked on the firms’ own pages on 2 October 2026.

Method

We read the 11 holidays and 5 years in the Fed’s K.8 table and applied its footnotes: a Saturday holiday does not close the Federal Reserve Banks, and a Sunday holiday closes them on the Monday after. Business days are Monday to Friday minus those closures.

For the worked examples we used each firm’s longest stated window (for example 10 for “5 to 10 business days”) and started from the business day before each of the next four closures.

Caveats

These are not predictions of when any payout will arrive. Firms approve requests on their own schedules and many state windows that start only after approval. Some payment rails (crypto, Rise, PayPal) do not depend on Fed settlement at all.

The Fed can change its holiday schedule; check the K.8 page for the latest version.
