Last verified: 26 August 2026 — payout tables read from Apex’s own help center on that date.
Apex pays up to weekly at a 100% payout split, with a $500 minimum, 5 qualifying trading days, a 50% consistency rule, and a hard cap of 6 payouts per Performance Account — after which the account closes. You must also stay above a lifetime Safety Net balance, and only profit above it can be withdrawn.
The rule people miss: the 100% split is real, but it sits inside two limits — a per-request cap that rises with each payout, and the 6-payout ceiling that ends the account. Both belong in any comparison against a firm advertising a lower split with no payout cap.

The Safety Net, explained
Apex’s own definition: the Safety Net is your account’s drawdown limit plus $100, and it must be maintained for the lifetime of the Performance Account. Only profit above that threshold is eligible to be requested. It is not a one-time gate you clear and forget — it applies for as long as the account exists, which is why the minimum balance needed to submit a request sits $500 above the Safety Net itself.
Rules that end a Performance Account
- Six payouts. The PA closes after the sixth payout; a new evaluation is required for another.
- Inactivity. The PA is closed if it does not record at least two days of $50+ net profit within 30 consecutive calendar days.
- Account cap. Up to 20 Performance Accounts can be active at once, counted across Legacy, EOD and Intraday combined.
Legacy accounts
Apex replaced its entire product line on 1 March 2026. Legacy accounts — subscription-based monthly evaluations with a 90/10 split after the first $25,000 and a 30% MAE consistency rule — are no longer part of the current lineup, and legacy Performance Accounts kept the older activation model (a monthly fee of roughly $85 on Rithmic or $105 on Tradovate, alongside a one-time lifetime option).
Two honest caveats. Resets applied to legacy evaluations; the accounts Apex sells today have no resets at all — a failed or expired evaluation means buying a new one. And when we read Apex’s current product data on 26 August 2026 it contained no legacy or subscription products whatsoever, only one-time evaluations. If you hold a legacy account, confirm your own terms in your dashboard rather than trusting any published summary of them, ours included.
Common questions
What are Apex Trader Funding’s payout rules?
Apex pays up to weekly at a 100% payout split, with a $500 minimum payout, a requirement of 5 trading days that each meet a minimum daily profit, a 50% consistency rule, and a maximum of 6 payouts per Performance Account. You must also stay above a lifetime Safety Net balance. Verified 26 August 2026 from Apex’s own help center.
What is the Apex Safety Net?
The Safety Net is your account’s drawdown limit plus $100, and Apex requires it to be maintained for the lifetime of the Performance Account. Only profit above the Safety Net can be requested as a payout. The figures are $26,100 (25K), $52,100 (50K), $103,100 (100K) and $154,100 (150K). To actually submit a request you need slightly more — $26,600, $52,600, $103,600 and $154,600 respectively.
Do you lose your Apex account after 6 payouts?
Yes. Apex caps each Performance Account at a maximum of 6 payouts. After the sixth, the PA is closed and you would need to pass a new evaluation to get another one. This applies per Performance Account, and it is the rule most often missed when people compare Apex’s 100% split against other firms.
What is Apex’s 100% payout split?
Apex’s own wording is that approved payouts are issued at a 100% payout split — you receive 100% of the approved payout amount, with no profit split taken in the Sim Funded stage. Read it alongside the two limits that shape it: the per-request maximum, which rises with payout number, and the 6-payout cap after which the account closes.
How much is the minimum payout at Apex?
$500. On top of that you need 5 qualifying trading days, each meeting a minimum daily profit that varies by account size and drawdown type, and you must satisfy the 50% consistency rule.
What is Apex’s 50% consistency rule?
No single profitable trading day may account for 50% or more of your total profit earned since your last approved payout. If you do not meet it, the payout request option is simply unavailable until your consistency comes back within range. It blocks the payout rather than failing the account.
What is the maximum payout on a 100K Apex account?
On an Intraday Trail 100K account the per-request cap runs $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $3,000, $4,000 and $4,000 across payouts 1 to 6. On EOD Trail 100K it runs $2,000, $2,500, $2,500, $3,000, $4,000 and $4,000. The cap rises with payout number, and the account closes after the sixth.
How many Apex accounts can you have?
Up to 20 Performance Accounts active at once, and that cap applies across all types and sizes combined — Legacy, EOD and Intraday together.
Does Apex have a reset fee?
Not on the accounts it currently sells. Current evaluations are one-time purchases with no resets: a failed or expired evaluation requires a new purchase. Resets applied to the legacy evaluation accounts, which Apex stopped selling when it replaced its product line on 1 March 2026.
What is the monthly fee on an Apex legacy account?
Legacy Performance Accounts kept the pre-March-2026 activation model, which used a monthly fee of about $85 on Rithmic or $105 on Tradovate, alongside a one-time lifetime option. Those terms apply to existing legacy holders only. Apex’s current product data contains no legacy or subscription products at all — everything it sells today is a one-time evaluation — so if you hold a legacy account, confirm your specific terms in your own dashboard rather than from any published summary, including ours.
Does Apex close your account for inactivity?
Yes. A Performance Account is closed if it does not record at least two days with $50 or more in net profit within 30 consecutive calendar days.
