Prop Trader News-Day Calendar Feed: BLS, Fed and Treasury Dates (.ics)

Last updated: 11 October 2026 Want CPI, jobs-report, FOMC and Treasury auction dates in your own calendar? We built a subscribable .ics file from the Bureau of Labor Statistics release calendar, the Federal Reserve calendar and the Treasury auction API. It covers 12 October to 31 December 2026, in UTC so it follows your time zone.

Key findings · 24 events, 12 Oct–31 Dec 2026

24 scheduled US news events fall between 12 October and 31 December 2026: 16 BLS releases, 6 Federal Reserve events and 2 Treasury note or bond auctions announced so far. All of it is in one downloadable iCalendar (.ics) file you can add to Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar.

The big three: CPI on 14 Oct, 10 Nov, 10 Dec; the jobs report (Employment Situation) on 6 Nov, 4 Dec; FOMC rate decisions on 28 Oct, 9 Dec (statement 2:00 pm ET, press conference 2:30 pm ET). 14 of the 16 BLS releases come out at 8:30 am ET.

The busiest week is 7 Dec–13 Dec with 4 events. Times are stored in UTC in the file, so your calendar shows them in your own time zone and moves them correctly across the US clock change on 1 November 2026.

The Treasury side is thin on purpose. The Treasury API only lists auctions after they are announced, and it publishes no auction time, so we show the two announced note and bond auctions as all-day markers and left out bills.

These are the events, not trading rules. Whether a firm bans trading around any of them, and for how many minutes, is in our news-trading calendar, which compares each firm’s own rule.

Sources

Method

We fetched the three sources on 11 October 2026, kept events dated 12 October to 31 December 2026, converted each time from US Eastern (America/New_York, including the 1 November change from EDT to EST) to UTC, and wrote one VEVENT per event with a stable UID, a 15-minute duration and a link to the source. Treasury auctions are all-day events because the API gives no time.

To check that the file imports, we parsed the published file with the Python icalendar library: all 24 events load, the UIDs are unique, and CPI on 14 October reads 12:30 UTC (8:30 am EDT) while the 9 December FOMC statement reads 19:00 UTC (2:00 pm EST).

Caveats

Agencies reschedule releases, especially around government shutdowns and holidays. This file is a dated snapshot of the schedules above, not a live feed, so check the agency page for anything that matters to a trade. We did not include speeches, other Fed releases or Treasury bills, and the Treasury list only holds auctions announced so far.

The file marks when a release or meeting happens. It says nothing about any prop firm’s news-trading rule, and nothing here is trading advice.
