Prop Firm Payout Speed & Methods: How 8 Firms Pay, in Their Own Words

Last updated: 2 October 2026 How each prop firm pays you, and how fast it says it pays. Payout methods, firm-stated processing times and fees for 8 firms, each quoted from the firm’s own help pages. These are the times the firms state, not times we measured.

Key findings · checked 2 October 2026

Rise is the most common payout rail. 5 of the 8 firms we checked pay through Rise (Riseworks): Tradeify, MyFundedFutures, FundedNext, The5ers, Goat Funded Trader. The money lands in a Rise wallet first, and you withdraw from there to a bank or crypto.

US futures firms mostly pay straight to a bank. Apex pays US residents by ACH direct deposit, Take Profit Trader by Plaid, and Topstep by Aeropay or ACH, plus same-day transfers into a Topstep brokerage account.

Stated speeds run from seconds to 10 business days. Take Profit Trader moves money from account to wallet in “5-10 seconds”. FundedNext promises 24 hours and Goat Funded Trader 2 business days, each with $1,000 if late. Topstep allows up to 3 business days for approval, plus 5–10 business days for an international wire.

Fees differ by method. Topstep charges $30 for ACH and wire. The5ers takes 3.5% on Rise, crypto and bank transfer. Take Profit Trader charges $50 on wallet withdrawals of $250 or less. Tradeify says Rise is free to receive on.

FTMO and FundingPips aren’t included: FTMO’s withdrawal answer loads by script, and FundingPips blocks our fetches, so we couldn’t quote either today. “Not stated” means the page we checked didn’t say. It doesn’t mean the firm has no policy. When payouts are allowed (buffers, minimums, consistency) is covered in the Payout Friction Index.

Methodology

We saved each firm’s payout help pages on 2 October 2026. Apex and Tradeify block automated fetches, so we read their pages through a web reader the same day. Every quote was checked word for word against the saved copy or our notes. “Speed” is what the firm states, which may be approval time, processing time or delivery time, and the quotes show which. Third-party times, such as a bank’s or Rise’s own processing, can add more. We didn’t test any payouts, and this isn’t a ranking. Related: Rules Glossary and State of Prop Firms: October 2026.
