Last updated: 2 October 2026 How do prop firm websites hold up on standard technical checks? We ran the same free, public tools against 10 prop firm homepages: Google Lighthouse, TLS certificate details, registry RDAP domain records and the Tranco top-sites list. Results are shown as measured, in alphabetical order. This isn’t a ranking of the firms.
Every site scores lower on mobile performance than on the other three Lighthouse categories. Median performance scores run from 30 to 57 out of 100, while accessibility runs from 87 to 100. In this mobile lab test, no site reached Google’s 2.5-second “good” largest-contentful-paint threshold.
All 10 sites serve TLS 1.3 with valid certificates. The issuers are Google Trust Services (7); Let’s Encrypt (2); Amazon (1). All certificates expire between November and December 2026.
The oldest domains are Topstep (2000) and FTMO (2001). The newest are MyFundedFutures (2023) and Goat Funded Trader (2023), according to registry RDAP records. the5ers.com’s registry record shows an expiry date of 2026-10-20. Registry dates usually move forward when a domain is renewed.
On the Tranco top-sites list (1 October 2026), FTMO ranks highest (25,633), followed by FundedNext (37,902) and FundingPips (46,163). All 10 are in the top 100,000.

Scores are out of 100. Performance is the most variable of the four: it changes with network conditions, server location and whatever the page loads that day, including pop-ups and promo banners. A single point difference isn’t meaningful.

Tradeify’s .co registry doesn’t return dates through RDAP, and its WHOIS server didn’t answer from our network, so those cells say “Not available”. Security headers aren’t compared: several sites answered our automated header requests with early-hint, bot-check or rate-limit responses, so header snapshots wouldn’t compare like with like.
Methodology
We tested each homepage (https://domain/, following redirects) with Lighthouse 12.8.2, the open-source engine behind PageSpeed Insights. We used its default mobile settings (emulated mid-range phone, simulated slow 4G) in headless Chrome on one server on 2 October 2026, ran each site 3 times, and report the median. Every tested page returned HTTP 200. Lab results from one location won’t match field data from real visitors, but every site was tested the same way. Certificate details come from a direct TLS connection. Domain dates come from the registry RDAP services (Verisign for .com). Ranks come from the Tranco list API (tranco-list.eu). The hosted PageSpeed Insights API was rate-limited for keyless requests during our run, so we ran Lighthouse ourselves.
