Corrections
- Take Profit Trader commissions changed, and the micro rate tripled. Futures went from $5.00 to $4.50 per round trip, but micros went from $0.50 to $1.50. The headline number got cheaper while the one that matters to micro scalpers got three times more expensive.
- Take Profit Trader now publishes a 2025 pass rate: 36.22% of all Trading Tests passed between 1 January and 31 December 2025. We were still citing a 16.86% figure for 2024.
- Two of the ten firms we track publish their own pass rate: Take Profit Trader (36.22% of Trading Tests passed in 2025) and MyFundedFutures (20.35% of evaluation accounts, January 2024 to July 2025, since removed from its site).
- Goat Funded Trader discount maths relabelled. The $438 to $263 price on a 100K account is roughly 40% off, which is the BOGO40 code — our copy framed it as a 50%-off deal.
- FundedNext’s single “Rapid” price row is marked superseded rather than updated. The product split into Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily, its prices render only inside a tab switcher, and its promo codes changed three times this month. We would rather show you no number than a number we cannot stand behind, so that row now points at the live pricing page.
Common questions
What are Take Profit Trader’s commissions?
$4.50 per round trip per futures contract and $1.50 per round trip on micros, on Test and PRO accounts (PRO+ uses broker rates). Both were revised in August 2026. The micro rate tripled from $0.50, which matters most if you trade micros at high frequency — that change is easy to miss and directly affects scalping strategies.
What is Take Profit Trader’s pass rate?
Its homepage states that 36.22% of all Trading Tests were passed between 1 January and 31 December 2025. It separately cites 20.37% of registered users who passed a test between January and August 2023. Those are different periods and different denominators — tests passed versus users who passed — so they are not directly comparable.
Which prop firms publish their own pass rate?
Two of the ten we track have: Take Profit Trader (36.22% of Trading Tests passed in 2025) and MyFundedFutures (20.35% of evaluation accounts between January 2024 and July 2025, a disclosure it has since removed from its site). We previously described MyFundedFutures as the only firm to have done so; that was wrong and is corrected.
