Always on Sale: Prop Firm Discount Banners in 21 Months of Snapshots

Last updated: 11 October 2026 Tradeify’s homepage showed a discount banner in all 21 of our monthly archived snapshots from January 2025 to September 2026. Take Profit Trader showed one in all 20. Topstep showed none in 19, and The5ers none in 20. List prices barely move. For many of these firms, the sale price is the price.

Key findings · archive snapshots, not days on sale

Tradeify 21/21, Take Profit Trader 20/20, Goat 19/20, Apex 16/18 monthly homepage snapshots showed a discount banner. Topstep 0/19, The5ers 0/20.

Apex’s own banner (7 Oct 2026) advertises evaluations “up to 92% off” with code SAVENOW, ending 13 Oct 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

List prices are mostly flat. FTMO’s 100K Challenge has been €540 since 2023. Topstep’s 50K Combine has been $49/month since at least Oct 2024.

How often the banner was up

Our Discount Tracker is built from Wayback Machine captures of each firm’s homepage, roughly one readable snapshot a month from January 2025 to September 2026, plus live checks. A snapshot counts if a %-off banner or equivalent discount claim is visible in the archived HTML. This is not the same as “share of days on sale.” A firm could run a one-week sale that we never captured, or a banner that loaded only in JavaScript.

FirmReadable snapshots with a discount bannerHeadline % when a banner was present
Tradeify21 of 21Median 33%, max 50%
Take Profit Trader20 of 20Median 40%, max 50%
Goat Funded Trader19 of 20Median 35%, max 50%
Apex Trader Funding16 of 18Median 82.5%, never below 60% when shown
FTMO6 of 20About 20% when shown
Topstep0 of 19No %-off banner (referral codes and Responsible Trading Discount are separate)
The5ers0 of 20No %-off banner (a $149 / $249 price conflict on the homepage is a different issue)

Apex’s “up to 92% off”

On 7 October 2026 Apex’s homepage banner read “ANY SIZE EVALS UP TO 92% OFF | USE CODE: COUPON ‘SAVENOW’.” With that code, the price panel showed Intraday evaluations at $13.36 (25K), $19.92 (50K), $63.20 (100K) and $95.20 (150K), and EOD evaluations at $39.20, $47.20, $95.20 and $175.20. The countdown pointed to 13 October 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Across our 2025–2026 Apex archives, every readable sale banner was at least 60% off, and most were 80% or 90%. “Up to 92%” is Apex’s own wording.

List prices barely moved

Our Prop Firm CPI page tracks list prices against US CPI. FTMO’s 100K 2-Step Challenge has been €540 from January 2023 through October 2026. Topstep’s 50K Standard Combine has been $49 a month since at least October 2024. Apex’s monthly 50K FULL list price rose from $147 to $157 between January 2023 and August 2025. In real terms, the flat EUR and USD list prices have fallen.

Caveats

  • Monthly snapshots ≠ days on sale. We say so on the tracker page.
  • Static HTML can disagree with a JavaScript banner. Tradeify’s static HTML once said “ENDS 31 AUGUST” while the live script said 15 October.
  • Codes on product pages (FundedNext) or behind script shells (FundingPips) are not in the homepage-banner stats.
