Last updated: 2 October 2026 Behind each prop firm brand is a company, sometimes several, in a jurisdiction you might not expect. We read the legal small print on each firm’s own site, checked official registers where a free one exists, and looked up when each domain was registered. Every claim links to its source.
Two of the 10 brands name a company on the island of Mohéli, in the Comoros, as the operator. FundedNext says FundedNext Ltd is registered there (HY01023052). FundingPips says the same of FundingPips Corp (HY01223081), with a registered address in Dubai. A third, Goat Funded Trader, is a trade name of a Hong Kong company, and a separate Saint Lucia company provides its simulated trading.
We could check only two in a free official register, and both show who’s in control. The Czech register lists FTMO s.r.o.’s sole shareholder as OMHC a.s. since 24 January 2025. UK Companies House lists one individual person with significant control of The5ers’ company, Five Percent Online Ltd, with 75% or more of the shares. Companies House records the company’s registered business type as “78300 – Human resources provision”.
One brand, many companies. Topstep names seven companies on its homepage, with TopstepTrader, LLC running the Combine and Express Funded Account and Topstep LLC as the parent. FundedNext names five, across the Comoros, Hong Kong, the UAE and Cyprus. Who you contract with can differ from the name on the website.
The youngest domains are under four years old. myfundedfutures.com was registered on 2023-05-04, goatfundedtrader.com on 2023-01-18 and fundingpips.com on 2022-09-06. ftmo.com (2001) and topstep.com (2000) are older than the firms themselves, so domain age isn’t firm age.

“As stated” means as the firm describes itself. We haven’t checked every company in a register: many registers are paid or have no public lookup. tradeify.co’s registration date isn’t published through RDAP.

Methodology
On 2 October 2026 we read each firm’s homepage footer or terms for the companies it names. Apex and FundingPips block our automated fetches, so we read their terms page and help-center footer through a web reader the same day. All other quotes were checked word for word against our saved copies. For FTMO we used the Czech government’s ARES register (company ID 03136752). For The5ers we used UK Companies House (company 12553363). Domain dates are each domain’s registration event in RDAP, the registries’ public lookup.
What this isn’t: a ranking, an accusation or a licensing check. Where a company is registered says nothing on its own about whether a firm pays out. The Comoros/Mohéli registrations are the firms’ own statements, and we haven’t checked them in a register. We list owners only where an official register names them, and we leave out personal details such as dates of birth. The Czech business register (ARES) lists FTMO s.r.o.'s sole shareholder as OMHC a.s. (company ID 09036989), recorded on 24 January 2025 (checked 2 October 2026). FTMO s.r.o. was founded on 24 June 2014.
Where is FundingPips registered?
FundingPips says its operator, FundingPips Corp, is incorporated in the Comoros Union (company number HY01223081), with a registered address in the IFZA Business Park, Dubai. It also names FundingPips Services Ltd in Cyprus as a non-operational support office.
Who owns The5ers?
The5ers' website is operated by Five Percent Online Ltd, UK company 12553363. Companies House lists one individual person with significant control, with 75% or more of the shares and voting rights (checked 2 October 2026).
Which company runs Topstep's Trading Combine?
Topstep's site says the Trading Combine and Express Funded Account are operated by TopstepTrader, LLC, one of several wholly owned subsidiaries of Topstep LLC.
