Last updated: 11 October 2026 Two of the 10 largest prop-firm brands, FundedNext and FundingPips, name operating companies registered in Comoros (Mohéli). Goat Funded Trader names companies in Hong Kong and Saint Lucia. Only FTMO’s operating company has a current Legal Entity Identifier that we could match to it by registration number. Here is what each firm says about itself, and what three public registers returned on 11 October 2026.
Comoros (Mohéli): FundedNext Ltd and FundingPips Corp. Hong Kong and Saint Lucia: Goat Funded Trader. UAE: FundedNext’s brand owner. Czech Republic: FTMO. UK: The5ers. US: Apex (Texas) and Take Profit Trader (Florida); Topstep, Tradeify and MyFundedFutures name US LLCs or corporations without stating a jurisdiction on the pages we read.
LEIs: one current LEI matched by registration number (FTMO s.r.o.) and one lapsed (TopstepFunded LLC, Chicago). We found none under six other operating names.

Legal Entity Identifiers (GLEIF), 11 October 2026
An LEI is a global ID that companies need for many regulated financial transactions. It is optional for most other businesses, so a missing LEI is common and is not a red flag on its own.
- FTMO s.r.o.: LEI 315700TOY06EA1ON6S96, issued, Czech registration 03136752, previous legal name “FF Trader s.r.o.”. FTMO Invest s.r.o. also has an LEI.
- TopstepFunded LLC (Chicago): LEI 549300E6CR2O10LCKS89, lapsed. The name matches the entity Topstep lists. We have not otherwise confirmed the link.
- No LEI found under the operating names of Apex Trader Funding, Tradeify, MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader, FundedNext and Goat Funded Trader (Wishes Tower).
- Two name matches we are not using. A Mauritius company whose previous legal name was “FundingPips”, and a lapsed Israeli “Five Percent Online Ltd”. Neither is linked to the brand by address or registration number. The5ers names a UK company with that name.
Licence registers, 11 October 2026
None of the 10 brand names was found on ESMA’s EU investment-firm register or on Australia’s AFS licensee register. OANDA, used as a positive control, was found on both. “Not found” is not a finding that a firm is unlicensed or unregulated. Simulated-evaluation businesses may not need these licences, and a licence could be held under another company name.
Why this matters to a buyer
Where a company is registered decides which courts and consumer rules apply if something goes wrong. Offshore registration is legal and common in this industry. Our point is only that buyers should know the jurisdiction before paying. The UK FCA register will be added to our regulator page once we have API access.
